During december 2007 a crew of kiwi boaters met up with australian film maker sharn from 8frames productions to make a kayak film like no other. Sam sutton and Dylan thomson met up with sharn in dunedin and headed for queenstown. After a week of boating in the south on runs like nevis bluff, hollyford, kokatahi, maruia falls etc they headed to wellington. I had been working for that week so couldnt make it but loaded up in Sams holden and headed to Aratiatia. After being picked up at 1am and driving through the night it was straight into the gnar. We hit Aratiatia twice, tree trunk gorge and a bunch of other waterfalls around he north. It was a sick trip traveling round with the boys and getting some sick footage.
